Lead Guest Editor for the Special Issues: "Special phenomena and unconventional design in fluid film bearings" of the "International Journal of Rotating Machinery" in 2016, "Sensors for Fault Diagnosis" of "Sensors" in 2019 and "Deep Learning, Artificial Neural Networks and Sensors for Fault Diagnosis" of "Sensors" in 2020. 2020 - today: section board member of "Fault Diagnosis & Sensors" of "Sensors". He is currently full-time associate professor of Applied Mechanics at the Politecnico di Milano and is member of the Rotor Dynamics Research Group of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
