Biography
My current research focuses on geochemical impact assessment, mine soil management, and best available techniques in landscape restoration; novel educational approaches in engineering geoecology is my second focal area. I hold the double academic degree of Candidate of Engineering by the St. Petersburg Mining University and Doktor-Ingenieur by the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. Since 2008, I've published over 100 papers and chapters in books and peer-reviewed journals in English and Russian.
