Prof. Dr. Xianyun Wu has been an associate professor at Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology, School of Communication Engineering since 2016, before that, he was a lecturer at this university for three years. He graduated with a PhD major in Information and Communication Engineering at Xidian University from 2006 to 2012. Moreover, he has led and participated in many scientific research projects, such as a study of hyperspectral image demixing algorithms and their implementation in high-performance parallel computing, “parallel decompression system for Chang'e-3 images, “development of Mars-1 image compression system and so on. His research direction is high-performance parallel computing, hyperspectral image processing, distributed video compression, ship inspection, etc.
