The main areas of my research are the development of targeted drug delivery and nanotechnology. I am particularly interested in designing smart drug delivery systems. Some of my research interests include drug and gene delivery, design and synthesis of biomaterials, particularly RNA interfering (RNAi)-based molecules such as small interfering RNA (siRNA). During my PhD work I have done Phase-I and preliminary Phase-II Human Clinical Trial of nanoparticle loaded novel dosage form.
