Paola Ulivi is a senior researcher with long-standing experience in the areas of molecular biology, translational research, and molecular diagnostics for different types of solid tumors. Her main field of research is translational research on lung cancer and tumors of the gastrointestinal and urogynecological tracts. Her principal topics of expertise are related to the study of diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive biomarkers in tissue and biological fluids. In particular, in recent years, her research has principally been related to the investigation of primary and secondary resistance mechanisms to targeted therapy and immunotherapy in solid tumors.
