Dr. Y. Larbah is a Senior Researcher specializing in nanostructured materials, thin films and coatings, irradiation effects, inorganic scintillators, and metallurgy. His research focuses on the synthesis, processing, and microstructural characterization of advanced materials, particularly ferritic–martensitic alloys reinforced with nanoparticles. He has also conducted research on the synthesis and characterization of semiconductor materials, including ZnO, ZnS, ZnSe, and ZnTe, as well as mixed-garnet scintillators for radiation detection applications. His scientific interests include the development and characterization of multifunctional materials for advanced optical, electronic, and radiation-detection technologies.
