Manuel A. Guzman received his Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Maracay, Venezuela (2012). He is a master senior researcher at La Selva Research Center at Corporación Colombiana de Investigación Agropecuaria (AGROSAVIA), Rionegro, Colombia. His research areas are plant breeding, genetic resources, and applied statistics.
