Prof. Alaa Eldeen Bakry Yassin Professor of Pharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy, KSAU-HS Research interests: - Nano-particulate drug delivery systems; particularly, solid lipid, polymeric, and polymer–lipid hybrid nanoparticles and vesicular systems such as liposomes, niosomes, and polymeric micelles. - Development of nano-drug delivery systems for anticancer, antimicrobial, and cardiovascular drugs. - Site-specific delivery including colon, gastro-retentive, and transdermal sites. - Chrono-therapeutic drug delivery systems. Best Faculty Member in Academic Year 2018-2019, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences President's Awards for Excellence, 2019. 3. Recipient of Kayyali Prize for Excellency in Pharmaceutical Research, Saudi Pharmaceutical Society, 2014. 4.
