Ana graduated in biological physics and obtained her master's degree in Molecular Biophysics. She is currently a final-year PhD student in Molecular Biophysics with emphasis in the investigation of interactions between proteins and small molecules with pharmacological interest by means of experimental and computational approaches. She has solid experience in experimental analysis of protein-ligand complex based on steady-state fluorescence spectroscopy, time-resolved fluorescence, UV-VIS absorption and circular dichroism. Her experience extends to computational biophysics including molecular docking, molecular dynamics and calculation of electronic structure of small molecules. She has complementary experience in scanning and transmission electronic microscopy and atomic force microscopy (AFM).
