Gebrehiwot Gebreslassie received a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Mekelle University, Mekelle, Ethiopia, in 2011 and M.Sc. degree in Physical Chemistry from Bahir Dar University, Bahir Dar, Ethiopia, in 2013. He received PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Jimma University, Jimma, Ethiopia in 2019. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in Addis Ababa Science and Technology University. His research interests include Z-Scheme photocatalysts, 2D nanomaterials, magnetic semiconductor materials and their environmental and energy applications
