Tea Lallukka is a Professor of Medical Sociology at the University of Helsinki and head of the Department of Public Health. Additionally, she holds a title of affiliate at the University of Sydney, is an associate at the Karolinska Institutet, and an invited expert of the Global Burden of Disease project since 2013. Majority of her studies are done using cohort and register data, focusing on social determinants of health and work disability. She has also a long expertise in collecting survey data.
