Professor Aharon Gedanken is an outstanding and legendary scientist with over 950 publications in peer-reviewed journals of international repute and with a high impact factor.  He has 37 patent applications, 3 books, and over 10 book chapters to his credit.  Professor Gedanken made remarkable contributions to the fields of sonochemistry and microwave technology and their application to nanomaterials, biomaterials and biofuels.  He served as a faculty member in the department of Chemistry at Bar Ilan University for over 34 years (1975-2009) and have been an Emeritus professor in the same institute for over 13 years (2009 to today). Professor Gedanken’s research metrics, namely, H-index and citations, are 129 and 64632, respectively.  His research interests include Solid State Chemistry, Catalysis, Energy, Materials Science, and Biochemistry.
