Since accidents of hazardous chemicals transportation will cause serious loss to the surrounding environment and lives and properties, this paper studies the transportation route optimization problem of hazardous chemicals under dynamic time-varying conditions. Combined with the goal of green sustainable development, a multiobjective nonlinear optimization model is constructed to minimize the transportation risk, transportation cost, and carbon emissions generated in the transportation. The model is solved by the improved Fast Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm with Elite Strategy (NSGA-II) algorithm. The effectiveness of the model and the algorithm are tested on the Sioux Falls network. The experimental results show that under time-varying conditions, a vehicle’s departure at different times will generate different transportation costs and risks. Therefore, enterprises need to rationally arrange the departure time of vehicles according to the time windows of customer nodes and road conditions. In additio, from the relationship between the optimization objectives, in order to achieve green, sustainable and low-risk transportation, enterprises should first reduce their transportation costs.

Predicting seafood consumption behavior is essential for fishing companies to adjust their production plans and marketing strategies. To achieve accurate predictions, this paper introduces a model for forecasting seafood consumption behavior based on an interpretable machine learning algorithm. Additionally, the Shapley Additive exPlanation (SHAP) model and the Accumulated Local Effects (ALE) plot were integrated to provide a detailed analysis of the factors influencing Shanghai residents’ intentions to purchase salmon. In this study, we constructed nine regression prediction models, including ANN, Decision Tree, GBDT, Random Forest, AdaBoost, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost, and NGBoost, to predict the consumers’ intentions to purchase salmon and to compare their predictive performance. In addition, Bayesian optimization algorithm is used to optimize the hyperparameters of the optimal regression prediction model to improve the model prediction accuracy. Finally, the SHAP model was used to analyze the key factors and interactions affecting the consumers’ willingness to purchase salmon, and the Accumulated Local Effects plot was used to show the specific prediction patterns of different influences on salmon consumption. The results of the study show that salmon farming safety and ease of cooking have significant nonlinear effects on salmon consumption; the BO-CatBoost nonlinear regression prediction model demonstrates superior performance compared to the benchmark model, with the test set exhibiting RMSE, MSE, MAE, R2 and TIC values of 0.155, 0.024, 0.097, 0.902, and 0.313, respectively. This study can provide technical support for suppliers in the salmon value chain and help their decision-making to adjust their corporate production plan and marketing activities

With the development of the Internet, the oversight of research integrity issues has extended beyond the scientific community to encompass the whole of society. If these issues are not addressed promptly, they can significantly impact the research credibility of both institutions and scholars. This article proposes a text convolutional neural network based on SMOTE to identify short texts of potential public opinion events related to suspected scientific integrity issues from common short texts. The SMOTE comprehensive sampling technique is employed to handle imbalanced datasets. To mitigate the impact of short text length on text representation quality, the Doc2vec embedding model is utilized to represent short text, yielding a one-dimensional dense vector. Additionally, the dimensions of the input layer and convolution kernel of TextCNN are adjusted. Subsequently, a short text event extraction model based on TF-IDF and TextRank is proposed to extract crucial information, for instance, names and research-related institutions, from events and facilitate the identification of potential public opinion events related to suspected scientific integrity issues. Results of experiments have demonstrated that utilizing SMOTE to balance the dataset is able to improve the classification results of TextCNN classifiers. Compared to traditional classifiers, TextCNN exhibits greater robustness in addressing the problems of imbalanced datasets. However, challenges such as low information content, non-standard writing, and polysemy in short texts may impact the accuracy of event extraction. The framework can be further optimized to address these issues in the future.

Nationwide reading has been promoted in China for a long time and is deeply rooted in Chinese culture. However, a significant gap persists between the initiatives for reading promotion and the actual demands of readers. This study conducts a comprehensive investigation of the current reading culture in China and explores differentiated approaches to reading promotion. Initially, a multi-source master booklist comprising 435 titles is compiled from mainstream platforms related to reading, including Douban Reading, Dangdang, and Ximalaya. Following the master booklist, 395,132 digital footprints of readers across 34 province-level and 354 prefecture-level regions in China are collected, spanning 2005 to 2023. Subsequently, based on these digital footprints, a comprehensive spatio-temporal analysis is performed, which captures the distribution of reading conversions and genres, as well as the regularities of reading habits. Ultimately, understanding the spatio-temporal patterns of readers can significantly enhance reading promotion practices in China.
