Biography
Thomas Skurk is a Professor at the Technical University of Munich. He has been the Head of Core Facility Human Studies (ZIEL Institute for Food and Health, Nutritional Medicine, Technical University of Munich) since 2017. He was an intern and post-doc at the German Diabetes Research Institute (DDFI) from 1998 to 2003, and a post-doc, laboratory manager, and study physician (Chair in Nutritional Medicine, EKFZ, Technical University of Munich) from 2003 to 2017. His research interests include obesity; nutrition; and insulin sensitivity.
