Biography
Lorenzo Capponi received his Ph.D. in mechanical measurements for engineering and space from the University of Padova in 2021. He worked as Postdoc Research Associate at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2021–2023). In 2024, he moved to the University of Ljubljana as an MSCA-ERA Visiting Researcher. His research topics mainly include signal and digital image processing, vibration fatigue, hypersonics and thermal protection systems materials, metrology, and experimental methods.
