Dr. Usman is an Assistant Professor in the Center for Environmental Studies at the Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. Recently, he was a Humboldt Fellow at the University of Tübingen, Germany (2018). He obtained his PhD from the University of Lorraine, France (2011). Major focus of his research is the synthesis and applications of environmental materials for water and soil remediation with an emphasis on advanced oxidation processes, adsorption, and nanotechnology.
