Dr. Xin-Yuan Song received his Ph.D. in agricultural insect and pest control sciences at Shenyang Agricultural University in 2008, and did post-doctorate research at the Institute of Crop Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Currently working in Jilin Academy of Agricultural Sciences, he is now a master's student supervisor and a chief scientist of research team on plant environmental safety and its application. His main research interests focus on genetically modified crops and environmental safety assessment.
