Yong Wan received a B.S. degree in application electronic technology from the China University of Petroleum, Dongying, China, in 2001, an M.S. degree in control theory and control engineering from the China University of Petroleum, Dongying, China, in 2004, and a Ph.D. degree in marine information detection and processing from the Ocean University of China, Qingdao, China, in 2015. From 2004 to 2022, he was a lecturer at the China University of Petroleum, Qingdao, China. His research interests include marine information detection and processing, SAR detection for ocean waves and wind, wave energy, and wind energy assessment.
