TCHINDJANG Mesmin, a geographer, holds a Ph.D. in Geomorphology and an ability to Lead Research (HDR) from the University of Paris VII in France. He is a permanent professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Yaounde I. He coordinated about fifteen projects between 2012 and 2020. He is the author/co-author of several expert reports on the environment, mining, mapping, and climate change. He has published and co-published several books, some fifty articles in scientific journals, and book chapters in various fields including environmental issues, natural resource management, mining, tourism and ecotourism, tropical geomorphology, climate change, and natural hazards.
