Maria Kamariotou is research associate at the Department of Applied Informatics, School of Information Sciences, University of Macedonia, Greece. Her Master's thesis was awarded by the Hellenic Operational Research Society. Her PhD thesis was funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research & Innovation and it analyzes a methodological approach about the implementation of Strategic Information Systems Planning and its impact on SMEs’ performance. She has also been involved in the implementation of research projects. She is an author and also acts as reviewer for scientific journals, and conference proceedings. Her scientific research interests mainly focus on Strategic Information Systems and Innovation Management.
