Feature selection (FS) is one of the important tasks of data preprocessing in data analytics. The data with a large number of features will affect the computational complexity, increase a huge amount of resource usage and time consumption for data analytics. The objective of this study is to analyze relevant and significant features of huge network traffic to be used to improve the accuracy of traffic anomaly detection and to decrease its execution time. Information Gain is the most feature selection technique used in Intrusion Detection System (IDS) research. This study uses Information Gain, ranking and grouping the features according to the minimum weight values to select relevant and significant features, and then implements Random Forest (RF), Bayes Net (BN), Random Tree (RT), Naive Bayes (NB) and J48 classifier algorithms in experiments on CICIDS-2017 dataset. The experiment results show that the number of relevant and significant features yielded by Information Gain affects significantly the improvement of detection accuracy and execution time. Specifically, the Random Forest algorithm has the highest accuracy of 99.86% using the relevant selected features of 22, whereas the J48 classifier algorithm provides an accuracy of 99.87% using 52 relevant selected features with longer execution time.

Background: Information technology has shifted paper-based documentation in the health care sector into a digital form, in which patient information is transferred electronically from one place to another. However, there remain challenges and issues to resolve in this domain owing to the lack of proper standards, the growth of new technologies (mobile devices, tablets, ubiquitous computing), and health care providers who are reluctant to share patient information. Therefore, a solid systematic literature review was performed to understand the use of this new technology in the health care sector. To the best of our knowledge, there is a lack of comprehensive systematic literature reviews that focus on Fast Health Interoperability Resources (FHIR)-based electronic health records (EHRs). In addition, FHIR is the latest standard, which is in an infancy stage of development. Therefore, this is a hot research topic with great potential for further research in this domain. Objective: The main aim of this study was to explore and perform a systematic review of the literature related to FHIR, including the challenges, implementation, opportunities, and future FHIR applications. Methods: In January 2020, we searched articles published from January 2012 to December 2019 via all major digital databases in the field of computer science and health care, including ACM, IEEE Explorer, Springer, Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect. We identified 8181 scientific articles published in this field, 80 of which met our inclusion criteria for further consideration. Results: The selected 80 scientific articles were reviewed systematically, and we identified open questions, challenges, implementation models, used resources, beneficiary applications, data migration approaches, and goals of FHIR. Conclusions: The literature analysis performed in this systematic review highlights the important role of FHIR in the health care domain in the near future.

Intrusion Detection System (IDS) can detect attacks by analysing the patterns of data traffic in the network. With a large amount of data that is processed in the IDS, then need to do a feature extraction to reduce the computational cost of processing raw data in IDS. Feature extraction will transform features to the lower dimension to accelerate the learning process and improve the accuracy. This research on automatic feature extraction using simple autoencoder and SVM to classify attacks on IDS. We use various functions activation and loss to see how far this feature extraction feature can improve accuracy. We use Datasets KDD Cup` 99 NSL-KDD and to evaluate the effectiveness of the mechanisms of detection after extraction features process. In the proposed model, the activation functions autoencoder hyperparameter ReLU activation and loss function cross-entropy gives best accuracy value than other functions.

Internet of Things (IoT) devices may transfer data to the gateway/application server through File Transfer Protocol (FTP) transaction. Unfortunately, in terms of security, the FTP server at a gateway or data sink very often is improperly set up. At the same time, password matching/theft holding is among the popular attacks as the intruders attack the IoT network. Thus, this paper attempts to provide an insight of this type of attack with the main aim of coming up with attack patterns that may help the IoT system administrator to analyze any similar attacks. This paper investigates brute force attack (BFA) on the FTP server of the IoT network by using a time-sensitive statistical relationship approach and visualizing the attack patterns that identify its configurations. The investigation focuses on attacks launched from the internal network, due to the assumption that the IoT network has already installed a firewall. An insider/internal attack launched from an internal network endangers more the entire IoT security system. The experiments use the IoT network testbed that mimic the internal attack scenario with three major goals: (i) to provide a topological description on how an insider attack occurs; (ii) to achieve attack pattern extraction from raw sniffed data; and (iii) to establish attack pattern identification as a parameter to visualize real-time attacks. Experimental results validate the investigation.

Bitcoin is a kind of Cryptocurrency and now is one of type of investment on the stock market. Stock markets are influenced by many risks of factor. And bitcoin is one kind of cryptocurrency that keep rising in recent few years, and sometimes sudden fall without knowing influence behind it on the stock market. Because it’s fluctuations, there’s a need and automation tool to predict bitcoin on the stock market. This research study learns how to create model prediction bitcoin stock market prediction using LSTM, LSTM (Long Short Term Memory) is another type of module provided for RNN later developed and popularized by many researchers, like RNN, the LSTM also consists of modules with recurrent consistency. The Method that we apply on this research, also technique and tools to predict Bitcoin on stock market yahoo finance can predict the result above $ 12600 USD for next days after prediction, in the last section we make conclusions and discuss future works.

There are many free instant messengers available now which allow to communicate with friends with text, phone call, video, sharing of files, in group or not and keep contact with them even internationally. But only very few of the instant messengers have gained a popularity and attention. Recent studies have shown that the most popular instant messengers are WhatsApp, Viber and Telegram. Even, Facebook acquired WhatsApp due to have huge users. Viber is another messenger with many integrated features that allows the phone calls and sends the text messages for free and there is no subscription like WhatsApp. While Telegram offers the users an open-source platform with no ads, a clean fast interface, asks for no payments whatsoever and the biggest selling point is security. WhatsApp, Viber and Telegram which instant messenger is best? The popularity of Telegram has reached at the top of Google play store and become the most downloaded messaging app in the world today. But at the moment WhatsApp is still the winner!
