Dr. Zhiyuan Feng graduated from Ohio State University in May 2016, gaining his Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from The Fontana Corrosion Center in August 2019. He then worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Electron Microscopy Center of the University of Kentucky from October 2019 to October 2020. He joined the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, as an Assistant Professor in December 2020 and became an Associate Professor in April 2024. His research direction covers protective coatings for metals in marine environments and new corrosion inhibitors and conversion coatings.
