Dongdong Xu earned his PhD from the Institute of Oceanology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He spent one year conducting collaborative research at Brown University and engaged in cooperative research on marine fish breeding technology at the Advanced Technology Research Center of Tokyo University of Marine Science. Additionally, he served as a JSPS postdoctoral fellow for two years. He has previously led and participated in 3 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as 5 provincial-level science and technology projects. He has published over 50 papers in journals such as “Biology of Reproduction”, “Fish and Shellfish Immunology”, “Marine Biotechnology”, and “Aquaculture”. His research focuses on fish genetics and reproductive biology.
