I am an executive leader with 25 years of experience in life sciences, biotechnology and translational research. I help organisations build multi-disciplined academic-industry hybrid teams. I have secured over AUD$13.59 million in research funding. I am interested in translating and implementing genomic (personalised) medicine into clinical service and healthcare. My publications are available in ORCID (0000-0003-4163-511X), Google Scholar and Research Gate (>6124 citations, 80+ high impact publications). My training and key knowledge are in the discipline of: Genomics, Transcriptomics, Cardiovascular Disease, Obesity, Cancer Biology, Animal models, Nucleic Acid technologies, microRNA, microRNA therapeutics, Systems Biology, Pharmacogenomics, Experimental Design and Clinical research. My management skill sets are: Budget project grants (strategic and translational perspective), Risk and feasibility assessment, Industry partnership and Stakeholders engagement (Establish network in clinical, research, government level), Governance (i.e., clinical trials and biobanking), Team Management, and Mentoring. Some grants highlighted: 1. Identifying biomarkers in atrial fibrillation (Woodcock, Lin et al, 2004-7), 2. Myocardial infarction (McMullen & Lin, 2010-2), 3. Using microRNA therapeutics to restore cardiac function (McMullen & Lin, 2013-5). 4. MRFF Frontiers Stage 1, 2021-2, [$1M AUD cash plus $3.4M (industry contribution)] 5.
