Information

I have been with Norwich Business School since 2010 and my current role is Professor of Sustainable Energy Business. I am also the Associate Dean for Innovation for the Faculty of Social Sciences and I Chair the UEA-wide interdisciplinary theme Climate,UEA. I have previously held roles as Associate and Assistant Professor in Business and Climate Change. My research focuses on energy sector innovation including smart grid and storage applications and the role of energy in the sustainability performance of corporate organisations. My projects have so far received funding of approximately 27m euros. In parallel to NBS, I am visiting Professor at the School of Economics, Management and Statistics at the University of Bologna (IT) have held visiting appointments at the Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park (US) and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of West Attica (GR). Before UEA, I completed studies in software engineering, energy engineering, negotiations and environmental policy. Throughout my career I combined academic and industrial engagement. In the industry I gained experience as consultant and project manager in the energy sectors of the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Northern Africa.
