I have received my Ph.D. in Geology, titled Char extracted from coal ash as a replacement for natural graphite - "Charphite", from the University of Johannebsurg in 2019, under the supervision of Prof. Nicola Wagner and the co-supervision of Prof. Bruno Valentim and Prof. Fanus Viljoen. I specialize in coal, coal ash, char, natural graphite, and synthetic graphite research. I was part of the third ERA-MIN collaboration (2015 to 2020) on Sustainable Supply of Raw Materials in Europe.
