Róbert Findorák graduated in 1996 as a Ferrous Metallurgist and, in 2009, received a Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Metallurgy at the Technical University of Kosice. (Since 2017, this has been known as the Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy, and Recycling.) In 2015, he received the title of Associate Professor in the field of Metallurgy of Metals. His research deals mainly with raw materials for ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, physicochemical processes of ironmaking and relative processes, recycling methods, sustainability analysis, etc. He is the author of over 90 research papers, 4 books, and 30 research reports. He has been involved in multiple grant projects.
