Dr. Carmen Jiménez graduated in Applied Physics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and obtained her PhD degree in Physics in 1991 from the same university. Her main activity concerns the deposition and characterization of thin films, with strong expertise in the synthesis of films by MOCVD and ALD. She is author or co-author of around 125 publications. Since 2002, she jointed the CNRS as research engineer at LMGP, where she is involved in the MOCVD activity of functional oxides, as for example, transparent conductive materials.
