Dr. Stefania Tommasi is a Director of the Pharmacogenetics and Molecular Diagnostics Unit, Molecular Genetics Laboratory, Istituto Tumori “Giovanni Paolo II” Bari, and a Professor in Cellular Biology of Nursery Science Degree, University of Bari. She earned a Ph.D. in General Pathology from the University of Bari and a post-doctoral degree in "Cellular and Molecular Genetics" from the University of Naples. Her teaching disciplines include specific oncology fields, health education, food quality, and health, and her topics include genetic and epigenetic biomarkers of prognosis and therapeutic prediction in solid tumors in hematological malignancies, as well as hereditary breast cancer and melanoma.
