Prof. Chi-Kuei Wang is a Professor in the Department of Geomatics at National Cheng Kung University. He obtained his B.S. from the Department of Agricultural Engineering, National Taiwan University in 1997, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Cornell University in 2002 and 2005, respectively. After completing his Ph.D., he worked as an Associate Researcher at the University of Mississippi in 2005–2006. He joined National Cheng Kung University as an Assistant Professor in 2006 and has been a Professor since 2016. His research interests include Remote Sensing, Airborne Laser Scanner, Terrestrial Laser Scanner, Bathymetric Lidar, Ocean Color, and Spatial Statistics.
