Dr Yun Ii Go received a PhD in engineering from the University of Malaya in 2013. She is the Associate Dean of Pan-University Constituency, Heriot-Watt University. Prior to this, she was the Associate Dean for the Science and Engineering Constituency. She is passionate about sustainable development and green technology for resilient living. She has led research projects from the Energy Academy, the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Global Challenge Research Fund, the Ministry of Education Malaysia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Taiwan, with partnerships from the U.K., the U.S., Southeast Asia and East Africa. She is the nationalist of the UL-ASEAN-U.S. Science Prize for Women representing Malaysia and was a top-two regionalists in the ASEAN region. She has served as associate editor, editorial members and reviewers in various journals. She was the visiting fellow of Centre for Global Change and Sustainability Science, National Taipei University, Taiwan ROC and invited scholar of City College of New York and Southern Connecticut State University. She is a Certified Competent Person by Malaysia Sustainable Energy Development Authority, a Certified Energy Manager and a Certified Energy Auditor, and has received recognitions as APEC Engineer, International Professional Engineer and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer.
