Yongquan Xu is a researcher at the Tea Research Institute at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, which he joined in 2006. He graduated from Zhejiang Gongshang University in 2015 with a doctorate in food science. His main research areas are tea flavor chemistry, tea beverage processing and quality control, etc. He has obtained more than 40 authorized patents, of which more than ten have been transferred or licensed for implementation, and has won seven provincial and ministerial (academy) scientific and technological achievement awards, including one ChinaTea Science Society Technology Award as the first completer.
