Gi Jin Kim is the director of the CHA Placenta Research Institute and an associate professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at CHA University. She earned her Master of Science in Genetic Engineering and her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Korea University's Graduate School of Biotechnology. She is also a member of the Public Relations Committee of the Korean Stem Cell Society, Deputy Director of the Non-Clinical Evaluation Center at the CHA Group Research Institute, and an editorial board member of the International Journal of Stem Cells.
