Full-time professor and researcher in the faculty of mechatronics, electronics, bionics, and aerospace at Universidad Popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla. BEng degree in electronics, specializing in control systems, from Instituto Tecnologico de Puebla, and MSc. and DSc. degrees in applied physics from Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla. Researcher in optical fiber devices, optical interferometry, optomechatronic systems, fiber lasers, fiber instrumentation and sensing, and the optical properties and applications of deposited metamaterials. Catedras researcher through Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (2016-2019) and current member of Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI) Level I.
