Then, she worked as a Post Doctorate Research Fellow at the Department of Cell Biology, Yale University, from 1992 to 1993. She served as a Researcher at the Department of Experimental Medicine from 1995 to 2005 and now has been working as an Associate Professor since 2005 at the Department of Experimental Medicine, Sapienza University of Rome.
