Professor of ecology at the university, Enrique Mateos-Naranjo has a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Seville, obtaining the 2008 Extraordinary Doctorate Prize. In 2015, he received the Young Researchers Award from the Royal Cavalry Masters of Seville.
