Enric Vidal-Idiarte received a Licenciado en Informática degree and a Ph.D. degree from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, in 1993 and 2001, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Departament d'Enginyeria Electrònica, Elèctrica i Automàtica, Escola Tècnica Superior d(ETSE), Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona, Spain, where he is working in the field of digital and robust control of power converters. He is a member of the Grup d'Automàtica i Electrònica Industrial (GAEI) research group on Industrial Electronics and Automatic Control, whose main research fields are power conditioning for vehicles, satellites, and renewable energy.
