Dr. Maciej Serda defended his doctoral thesis in 2013 focusing on the medicinal chemistry of thiosemicarbazones as anti-cancer agents. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago (group of prof. Viresh Rawal), where he studied the medical chemistry of trityl radicals (2015) as EPR spin probes. After that time he worked in the laboratory of prof. Lon Wilson at Rice University (2015-2017) dealing with the nanomedicine of fullerenes. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the University of Silesia in Poland.
