Laura C. Sánchez-Sánchez received her PhD in Psychology (Clinical and Health Psychology programme) from the University of Almería in 2014, winning the Extraordinary Doctorate Award, and obtained a Master's degree in Sexology and another in Neuropsychology. She has worked as a clinical psychologist since 2002 and as a lecturer and researcher at several universities since 2005. She is currently a full professor at the University of Granada, Spain. Her research focuses on sexuality, body awareness and contextual therapies (Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, etc.).
