Daniel Kwasi Adjekum, Ph.D., has more than 25 years of experience in aviation as a command pilot and occupational health and safety professional. Kwasi has been a principal investigator for various multi-disciplinary research initiatives on aviation safety culture, safety reporting culture, and safety management systems (SMS). He is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and has published extensively on safety reporting culture in high-impact peer-reviewed academic journals and presented at academic conferences and industry workshops both in the U.S. and internationally. Kwasi is currently a professor of aviation/aerospace sciences at the University of North Dakota.
