Dr. Ciro Conversano is a researcher in general psychology at the University of Pisa, Italy. He is a psychologist and cognitive behavioral psychotherapist, a specialist in clinical psychology. He received his Ph.D. in Neurobiology and Clinical of Affective Disorders at the University of Pisa, Italy. He received his Postgraduate title in clinical sexology, adolescentology, neuropsychology, forensic psychodiagnostics, and hospital psychology. Since 2000, he has been working as a freelancer as well as a psychotherapist for S. Chiara Hospital, Pisa. Particularly, he has been working at the Unit for Medically Assisted Procreation as a Consultant. His main interests are related to clinical psychology, diagnostic process, psychotherapy, and psychotherapeutic treatment of psychiatric patients.
