Carlos Delgado received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in telecommunication engineering from the University of Alcalá, Madrid, Spain, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. He is currently an associate professor within the Computer Science Department at the University of Alcalá. He was a visiting scholar during the fall of 2005 and a visiting postdoctoral fellow during the spring and summer of 2007 within the Electromagnetic Communication Laboratory, Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA, USA. He is a co-founder of Newfasant, a company that develops and commercializes electromagnetic simulation software using a wide range of numerical approaches. His research interests include numerical methods applied to scattering and radiation problems, the hybridization of high-frequency and full-wave methods and fast computational techniques applied to electromagnetics.
