Qi Lu received the M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in geoscience engineering from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. From 2006 to 2007, she was a researcher with the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). From 2007 to 2012, she was an associate professor at Jilin University, Changchun, China. Since 2012, she has been a professor at Jilin University. Her current research interests include the development, signal processing and applications of ground penetrating radar.
