Since 2010, Dr. Simone Bergonzoli has collaborated with the Council for Agricultural Research and Economics at the Research Centre for Engineering and Agro-Food Processing (CREA-IT). His lines of interest are agricultural engineering, precision farming, the harvesting and logistics of bioenergy crops and agricultural residues, crop irrigation, soil quality, and pollinator biology. In the last few years, he has worked as an intern/reporter at the UN Agency of IFAD and as a host researcher at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) at the Experimental Center of Aula Dei (EEAD). Since 2020, he has been responsible for a regional project and research activities within the private sector with CREA.
