Ts. Dr. Adel Ali Saeed graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia in Environmental Technology (Microbiology). Currently, He is a lecturer at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia since 2015 (post doctoral and lecturer). He has 5 years’ experience at which he has been involved in research projects as a leader and member (20 projects), publications (>60 papers in WOS with impact factors [around 150 total Impact points],> 40 paper in Scopus, >40 book chapters, two international edited book in Springer (my citation is >1000 in google scholar), supervision for more than 25 master and Ph.D (main and Co), reviewer in 45 international journal with more than 220 he has been reviewed, consultancy in two main factories issues with Effective microorganism and airborne fungi and bacteria, as well as teaching for several subjects in the environment and medical microbiology. He has received a Malaysian board of biotechnology (MBOT) and this year he is a young ambassador of American society of microbiology to Malaysia. He has performed many projects in environmental technology, bio-nanotechnology using bacteria, fungi and microalgae for different wastewater treatment and also some work with non-thermal technology for clinical waste treatment, as well as application of bacteria in bio-concrete. His specific field is focused on antibiotic resistant bacteria in non-clinical environments and the fate of antibiotics in wastewater and greywater.
