Information

He received the MSc degree in mathematics from Warsaw University and PhD degree in applied mathematics and a habilitation degree with distinction in computer sciences from the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 2014 he received the title of Full Professor from the President of the Republic of Poland. Currently, he is a professor at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, PAS, member of the Scientific Council and Deputy Director for Research, IFTR PAS. In 2000 and 2003, he was a Visiting Scientist at the Miguel Hernandez University, Elche, Spain. In 2004 he was a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, San Diego. His research interests include information theory, neuroscience, application of dynamical systems and stochastic processes to biological systems and cryptography.
