This paper studies the mixed passive and $ H_{\infty} $ performance for uncertain neural networks with interval discrete and distributed time-varying delays via feedback control. The interval discrete and distributed time-varying delay functions are not assumed to be differentiable. The improved criteria of exponential stability with a mixed passive and $ H_{\infty} $ performance are obtained for the uncertain neural networks by constructing a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) comprising single, double, triple, and quadruple integral terms and using a feedback controller. Furthermore, integral inequalities and convex combination technique are applied to achieve the less conservative results for a special case of neural networks. By using the Matlab LMI toolbox, the derived new exponential stability with a mixed passive and $ H_{\infty} $ performance criteria is performed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) that cover $ H_{\infty} $, and passive performance by setting parameters in the general performance index. Numerical examples are shown to demonstrate the benefits and effectiveness of the derived theoretical results. The method given in this paper is less conservative and more general than the others.
This work is concerned with the delay-dependent criteria for exponential stability analysis of neutral differential equation with a more generally interval-distributed and discrete time-varying delays. By using a novel Lyapunov–Krasovkii functional, descriptor model transformation, utilization of the Newton–Leibniz formula, and the zero equation, the criteria for exponential stability are in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, we present the effectiveness of the theoretical results in numerical examples to show less conservative conditions than the others in the literature.
In this manuscript, we consider the finite-time control for nonlinear systems with time-varying delay. With the assistance of a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional which includes some integral terms, a matrix-based on quadratic convex approach, combined with Wirtinger inequalities and some useful integral inequalities, a sufficient condition of finite-time boundedness is established. A novel feature presents in this paper is that the restriction which is necessary for the upper bound derivative is not restricted to less than 1. Further a controller is designed via memoryless state feedback control and a new sufficient conditions for the existence of finite-time state feedback for the system are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). At the end, some numerical examples with simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained result.

The problem of asymptotic stability and extended dissipativity analysis for the generalized neural networks with interval discrete and distributed time-varying delays is investigated. Based on a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF), an improved Wirtinger single integral inequality, a novel triple integral inequality, and convex combination technique, the new asymptotic stability and extended dissipativity criteria are achieved for the generalized neural networks with interval discrete and distributed time-varying delays. By the above methods, the less conservative asymptotic stability criteria are obtained for a special case of the generalized neural networks. By using the Matlab LMI toolbox, the derived new asymptotic stability and extended dissipativity criteria are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) that cover $H_{\infty }$ , $L_{2}$ – $L_{\infty }$ , passivity, and dissipativity performance by setting parameters in the general performance index. Finally, we show numerical examples which are less conservative than other examples in the literature. Moreover, we present numerical examples for asymptotic stability and extended dissipativity performance of the generalized neural networks, including a special case of the generalized neural networks.

This paper is concerned the problem of robust control for uncertain neural networks with mixed time-varying delays comprising different interval and distributed time-varying delays via hybrid feedback control. The interval and distributed time-varying delays are not necessary to be differentiable. The main purpose of this research is to estimate robust exponential stability of uncertain neural network with performance attenuation level . The key features of the approach include the introduction of a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF) with triple integral terms, the employment of a tighter bounding technique, some slack matrices and newly introduced convex combination condition in the calculation, improved delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the robust control with exponential stability of the system are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The results of this paper complement the previously known ones. Finally, a numerical example is presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
