Dr. Sandeep K. Singhal serves as an Associate Professor, Scientist, and Principal Investigator at the University of North Dakota (UND). His expertise lies in data mining, artificial intelligence, and statistical modeling, with a specific focus on cancer biomarker discovery. He is also the Director of the Bioinformatics Division for North Dakota INBRE (IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence). Dr. Singhal’s academic journey includes postdoctoral research at the Cross Cancer Institute, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, and the Department of Biomedical Informatics, University of Pittsburgh. He earned his doctorate in bioinformatics from the Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium. In addition to his role at UND, he is a Research Scientist at Columbia University Medical Center, New York, NY, USA. With over 35 publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals and more than 7,000 citations, Dr. Singhal has made significant contributions to advancing precision medicine and cancer research through innovative computational approaches.
