Roman Starosta received his Ph.D. in 2000 from Poznan University of Technology (PUT). He received his degree of habilitated doctor of Technical Sciences in 2012. He is the head of the Department of Technical Mechanics at PUT. His scientific interests and research areas are the dynamics of structures, fluid mechanics, asymptotic methods, and computational systems of algebra and symbolic transformations. Dr. Starosta’s main professional activity has been education and research in engineering mechanics and fluid mechanics.
