Răzvan Beniugă is currently a lecturer at the Power Engineering Department of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering from “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Romania. He received his PhD in 2013 in the field of Power Engineering from the same institution, studying the integration of wind energy sources into the national energy system. Since then, his research has focused on renewable energy production and integration as well as energy efficiency. Since 2016, initially as an associate lecturer, and then as a full lecturer, he has taught disciplines such as Thermal Equipment and Installations, Waste Management, Energy Production, Energy Auditing, Energy in Buildings, Thermal Energy Utilization, Expert Systems in Energy, and Computer-Aided Analysis of Energy Processes. Moreover, he is a member of the Romanian Society of Energy Auditors and Managers SAMER and a member of the International Association of Engineers IAENG.
